Welcome to the website of the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). In tandem with the Vision, Mission and UPM Strategic Plan, the Faculty of Engineering is working hard to produce high quality graduates who are able to compete in the workplace, and are able to continually improve themselves. The faculty has established its own quality assurance system based on ISO9001 and has continuously maintained the MS ISO 9001:2000 certification since 2001. The system assures quality in teaching & learning, research and services.

Faculty has eight departments which offer eight Bachelor of Engineering programs, and 38 field of studies for MS and PhD studies. All eight Bachelor of Engineering programs are assessed by professors from world class universities such as Stanford University, Imperial College, Birmingham University, Manchester University, Sheffield University and Cse Western Reserve University. All programs also obtain accreditation from the Malaysian Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC).

The Faculty is also active in research and postgraduate studies programs. Members have obtained large amount of research grant for research, from public and private sectors. Research products and output from the faculty are important for UPM. Over half of UPM patents come from the faculty and members publish around 1000 in a year, including over 250 articles are published in journals.
